hmm, maybe a little kaopectate will help that. i think we will see more of the george mason/davidson type of thing in the ncaa. as the big boys continue to
recruit one and done players, teams like the raiders, butler and other quality mid majors will recruit solid players and watch them grow. when they develop
into juniors/seniors they will be experience laden teams with a lot of talent. when they play the big boys in the tournament it will be 22-23 year olds playing
18-19 year olds, and...

I watched the second half and OT today. That was a very exciting game, and either team could have won. But luck was with Kansas. As they say, sometimes
it's better to be lucky than to be good. Kansas was good AND lucky. I was impressed with Coach C's comments after the game. He took the blame for his
failure to take certain actions during the game. That was commendable, but we all know that a loss can be accounted for in numerous ways, like missing FTs late
in the game. But I applaude...

The crazy thing about George Mason's run is they didn't even win the CAA that year. They tied with Brownell's UNCW club during the regular season
at 15-3 but we won the tie breaker and then they got knocked out in the CAA semi's vs. Hofstra. I seriously believe Mason's run helped you guys land
Brownell because of the expectations and disappointment of our OT loss to George Washington added to what Mason was able to accomplish in the following weeks.
And the crazy thing...

From the onset, it seemed like Davidson was mainly the Stephen Curry show. But as they kept advancing I think it became apparent that they were a really good
team that especially played great defense. The point guard I think was one of the better point guards maybe in the country. Of course, it helps to have Stephen
Curry to dish to!

I think Davidson and Butler were somewhat similar in style and defense with the difference being Curry of course.

While Davidson was really...

I have to agree. Davidson impressed me more than any other mid-major that has made a run in the tournament. They were loaded with good players who contributed
their share. We've had our Indiana States, Gonzagas, George Masons, etc. but Davidson was an excellent all round team. I'm impressed that a school of
that size can acquire that type of talent. I suspect that none of the players where in Rivals Top 100.

The final poll doesn't really matter in college basketball (unlike college football...cough). It was all decided on the court...and Davidson's shot at
the Final Four hit the backboard. Who knows...if Davidson's PG hit that shot, maybe they would have won the championship?

That shows how close most of these teams are. One shot goes in for Davidson (or out for Kansas) and we have a different champion. I love March Madness.

The last play of regulation where Collins tripped and flipped the ball to Chalmers for the game tying 3 was kind of similar to one of our heartbreaker losses!

It sort of reminded me of the last regular season game where Jarred Lloyd on Valpo flipped a pass while falling to the ground to Shawn Huff for the game
winning shot with a free throw at the buzzer.

It's kind of interesting how a game can come down to a matter of inches one way or the other. I guess it's what...

i've been to almost all the home softball games and you're right about their offense. they're barely halfway through their schedule and already
they've broken a school record for home runs in a season. they're on pace to crush the runs mark. jherica williams already broke the school record for
individual home runs and rbis and her slugging percentage is somewhere in the .800s.

anyway, i think both teams should contend for league titles.
