I do not know if the Top of the World Classic field has been set for this season but it is a nice 8-team tournament. Last year the teams were: host Univ. of Alaska Fairbanks, Akron, Oregon State, Colorado State, Tennessee State, IUPUI, Portland State, and South Carolina Upland.

The beauty is that Roadtrip can drive to it.

Isn't there an early season tournament in Puerto Rico? Has anybody checked the field for that one? I'd imagine that Roadtrip would be in style if he wore his hula skirt there. Puerto Rico is a shorter drive than Hawaii too.

Actually I called up Hawaii, and asked them to drop us because I didn't want to see Roadtrip in a hula skirt, plus I heard their hot dogs weren't real good out there.

I think the rumor started because Biancardi was going to try and get us into the tournament in Hawaii awhile back.

I heard we had to drop out because there was no way for RoadTrip to drive there. But that may have just been a rumor.

Who started that rumor about Hawaii anyway? I had posted at the time that I had heard nothing about any tourney in Hawaii that we may play in.

I am a bit down as with Cory Cooperwood in the fold I really hoped the team would go to Hawaii to showcase the team but now the Honalulu Advertiser says the field is set and we aren't in it. It includes Celmson, Colorado, Colorado State, Coppin State, George Washington, Pepperdine and Vermont. It would have great. Here's hoping we can still pull out some kind of exempt tounament with some good teams. Tremendous excitement now tempered with a dash of disappointment.
