At 7pm tonight in the Nutter Center, #2 Seed Wright State will face #7 seed Youngstown State. YSU won both meetings during the regular season. On Monday they defeated the #10 seed, Detroit. The Lady Raiders finished a tough Wisconsin road trip Saturday so they should be well rested for the game.
Fans are what have been missing at the games! Tonight may be the last time you can see the Divison I leader in three point percentage, Senior Whitney Lewis. Also Freshman Shey Peddy is number 20 in the nation with over 3 steals per game and 7th among all Div I freshmen, scoring 15.3 points per game. She has also been named Newcomer of the Year in the league.
The Lady Raiders need this win to remain in the tournament. If they win AND #9 Loyola beats #1 Green Bay, WSU can host the semi-finals on Friday since we would be the highest remaining seed!
So TONIGHT, Weds, MAR 12th (for you DDN readers who need to know the date!) at 7pm you should be at the Nutter Center to support the Lady Raiders!!
