The Dayton Bombers had a booth there and were promoting a 6 game Hobart Arena ticket package for the 2008-09 season. I noticed that 5 of those games are scheduled for Saturday evenings with the 6th on a late Sunday afternoon. The Saturday dates are 11/15, 11/29, 2/7, 2/14, and 3/21. The Sunday date is 3/22. Looking at this Hobart Arena ticket package and reading between the lines, I came away with the distinct impression that Wright State may have finally taken control of the Nutter Center for weekend men's basketball. I haven't seen the men's 2008-09 schedule, but I've got to believe that we're hosting basketball games on those November and February Saturday nights. I've got a feeling that the Bombers are playing those weekend contests in Troy because they may have been informed that the Nutter Center is not available to them on those dates. I would have considered buying the Bombers ticket package, but chose not to, because I'll probably be attending Raider basketball games on all of those dates, including the weekend of March 21/22.
