The NCAA's 2nd best 3 Point shooter inks with T.R. Basketball Management
Whitney Lewis, a 6 foot (183 cm), power forward / small forward, signed a representation contract with T.R. Basketball Management. Lewis is an excellent 3 Point shooter and was ranked 2nd in 3P% with 47,5%. She finished as WSU's 7th all time leading scorer with 1117 points, 5th in FG% with 49,5%, 9th in 3P made with 86. 9th in FT made with 249, 3rd in FT% with 77,1%, 2nd in blocks with 92, and 4th in minutes played with 3396. Also was selected to the Preseason 2nd team All-Horizon League. Was named the Horizon League Newcomer of the Year during the 2005 - 2006 season. Lewis is a versatile power forward who averaged almost double figures in all seasons during her college career. She can play with her back to the basket as well as facing the basket. Is an excellent 3 point shooter with a very quick release on her shot and range on her shot. Has very good shot selection and passes the ball well from both the inside and outside. Reads the defense well and is a good FT shooter.
